Abstract

The influence of pH on voltammetric determination of thallium in the presence of EDTA was studied. It was found that pH of analyzed solutions containing lead masked with EDTA should be lower than 5.5, otherwise the Tl peak decreases and changes its position. The method was used for the determination of Tl in soot, ash, dust, and glass particles.
