Abstrakt

The connection between the metallothionein (MT) content and the presence of tumor was studied by adsorptive transfer stripping technique and differential pulse voltammetry (Brdička reaction). The average content of MT in the blood serum of tumour patients was higher than in controls (0.72 ± 0.09 μmol dm−3). In leukemia and lung cancer, the MT content was more than five times higher in comparison with control.
