Abstract

The CO2 adsorption and desorption of three commercial synthetic zeolites, silica gel and a natural zeolite were measured using a laboratory apparatus and model gas mixtures. The saturated adsorbents were subsequently used for testing desorption efficiency by evacuation and conventional or microwave heating. The highest adsorption capacity is shown by the Tamis moleculaires adsorbent, followed by molecular sieve 13 X.
