Abstract

We have described a photometric method for determination of phosphate in soils. The samples for testing were obtained from different depths of ground in the farmstead of deserted medieval village Sloupek (Rokycany region). Different methods of phosphate extraction were tested, too. Results of the final method were compared with archaeological excavation.
