Abstract

Vitamins are essential for human health and their main source is food. At present, both dietary supplements and multivitamin drinks that may supplement these vitamins are increasingly offered in the market. In this work, we have focused on the analysis of such products, including multivitamin beverages for children, especially group B vitamins, namely vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine, pyridoxal and pyridoxamine). A method based on LC-MS/MS has been developed allowing simultaneous quantification of vitamins B1, B2, and vitamers of B6.
