Abstract

In the present work we focused on the possibilities of aerosol production in laboratory and practical conditions of poultry breeding using selected disinfectants. Under laboratory conditions, we monitored pH and percentage of active chlorine in the exothermic reaction of the disinfectants evaluated. The aim of article was monitoring of total numbers of microorganisms, coliform bacteria located on selected surfaces and in the air before and after disinfection with Pedox PAA/50 and chlorinated lime. Statistical analysis confirmed the efficacy of these disinfectants in analyzed groups of microorganisms present on the surfaces and in the air.
