Abstract

The main aim of this study is to monitor the impact of biotic elicitor on resveratrol 3-β-ᴅ-glucoside production in cell culture of Vitis vinifera cv. Váh. Suspension cultures were treated with different concentrations of fungal elicitor with the aspect on polysaccharide components. The highest concentration of resveratrol 3-β-ᴅ-glucoside 236 mg g–1 (dry weight of plant cells) was determined in suspension culture on sixth day of cultivation after treatment with fungal elicitor with polysaccharide total content 60 mg (carbohydrate equivalent)/L. This concentration was 5.44 times more than in the control suspension culture.
