Abstract

A series of ozone concentration measurements were performed at various distances from terrain, in three localities with various immission loadings in the course of one year. The data were evaluated by correlation analysis, the dendrogram method and principal components analysis. Significant differences in pollution in the localities were confirmed. The mechanisms of formation and destruction of ozone were identical, differing only in intensity. The height above the ground was a significant factor which should be taken into account in construction of the respective mathematical models.
