Rozen Reaction. Mechanism of the Oxidation of Organic Molecules with Hypofluorous Acid
Abstract
The aim of this article is to introduce the amazingly effective and universal Rozen reagent – hypofluorous acid, stabilized by acetonitrile as solvent. Several recent works have suggested a reaction mechanism consistent with experimental evidence. The oxidation is probably controlled by autocatalysis with HOF and HF.Downloads
