Abstract

In this paper I introduce in a broader context a summary report of the Working Group of the European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC) on homeopathy, to which I contributed. I focus on the plausibility of a “scientific” explanation of efficacy of extremely diluted homeopathic solutions based on memory of water and on the effect of placebo.
