Modification of the Melting Point Apparatus Using Digital Thermometer

Abstrakt

The Kofler block of a melting point apparatus was improved by replacing the glass thermometer with an electronic thermometer with an LCD or LED display. The modification is easy and convenient offering sufficient accuracy of the temperature measurement.
