Abstract

The performance of a new microfluidic device was tested in a flow-injection analysis arrangement. The influence of the electric field intensity, sample volume and concentration as well as the repeatability were evaluated for dopamine and p-cresol. Determination of glucose was carried out after reaction with glucose oxidase using amperometric detection at gold-coated screen-printed carbon ink electrode. The method provided reliable performance and easy operation. Millimolar detection limits for glucose and micromolar detection limits for dopamine and p-cresol were achieved.
