Oxidation Stability of Liquid Motor Fuels and Biofuels

Oxidation stability is one of the parameters required by Czech technical standards for various types of fuel, whether for spark-ignition or diesel engines. Standard procedures for determination of oxidation stability had to be revised or new methods proposed with the advent of biofuels. The changes in oxidation stability tests due to biofuels are reviewed.
